Relating to SELF

There is a view that there are no ‘environmental problems’, simply human problems that impact on the environment from local to global levels. Another view is that ‘the enemy is us’ with regard to the battle to save Spaceship Earth. This being so, change has to start with our inner selves – how we see the world; what we value; what we believe; how long-term our thinking; whether we have the will to act for the benefit of others now and in the future; our notion of the good life; what it means to have enough to ensure well-being, how we deal with our emotions and build a sense of self-worth and agency to act upon the world non-violently, and so on.
